That’s me on my own wedding day in Vegas. Caught red-handed. If you know, you know. A reminder that the photographs and films we keep aren’t just about looking perfectly composed. Sometimes it’s the expression, the unexpected moment and the story around it that make them yours.

An unexpected beginning
A camera. A detour.
A very good story.
My first wedding was in 2014. The camera had originally been bought to document learning to fly in the US, but it turned out not to be quite the right fit for a cockpit. With encouragement from my now-wife, weddings became the direction I took.
What stayed with me was the storytelling: real people, an important day and moments that become more meaningful with time. That’s still the reason I do this.

I’m a Disney person. I love a story that can make you laugh, catch you off guard and have you reaching for a tissue before you realise it. I bring that care for the experience into BLOC, while keeping the story firmly yours.
Based in County Durham, I film across the North East, around the UK and wherever a wedding takes me. Whether your day is a small gathering or a full dance floor, I’d love to hear what matters to you.
