The words carry the feeling
A photograph can bring back a face. A voice brings back the pause before a sentence, the laugh halfway through and the way someone says your name. That’s why I care about the sound of the day alongside the pictures.
Start with the vows and speeches
Your ceremony and speeches have words you might have waited a long time to hear. We’ll discuss microphones, where people will stand and any restrictions before the wedding. Separate Ceremony and Speeches Films are included in every current BLOC collection.
A message without a camera
Memory Maker gives guests a chance to leave private voice messages. Some people find it easier to say something personal when they’re not trying to work out where to look. Their words become a different kind of keepsake. Guest messages are included in Keepsake.
Say what the day felt like, while you’re in it
Kiss Goodnight is a quiet conversation together at the end of the day. You don’t need a script. Talk about what surprised you, what made you laugh and the moment you keep returning to. Those reflections can help tell the story from inside the day.
Let the story begin before the wedding
Optional interviews before or after the day give you more room to explain how you got here. The first meeting, the proposal, the ordinary things you love about each other: they can add context that a wedding schedule never could.
Leave space for music and silence
A film doesn’t need a voice over every moment. Music, room sound and quiet all have a place. The edit is about letting each part of the story breathe, so the words you do hear mean something.
